Daployi Settings

Daployi Settings the setting here apply to the entire system aswell as individual users. Themes and multi-factor authentication (MFA) are per user and pertain to the currenly looged in user. Admin users cannot change these settings for other users.

Key areas​

  • Tunnel App: Name, this section allows the user to download the tunnel ap for any of the supported Oprerating syetms.
  • Themes: System theme defaults; optionally enforce terminal/editor themes for the project.
  • License: hee the user can view, change or de register a license key
  • Security: Here a user can configure one or more Multifactor authentication implementations.
  • Host: this sets the base api url for the system.

Security settings​

  • Device Registration Token (Authenticator App):
    • Rotate to invalidate older enrollment links.
    • Temporarily disable to pause onboarding without affecting existing devices.
  • Passkeys: allows users to login with a supported biometric/hardware authentication method.
  • Email: allows users to receive OTPs via email.

License Key​

The license key is required to access advanced features in the daployi system.

A license can only be used on one instance at a time and must be deactivated on a server before it is used on another. if the instance is not running anymore then you can wait 10 minutes and then use the license on the new instance.

  • Use suggest to all users to enable and use one or more MFA implementations
